  • I got this from another screensaver's help; the problem is generalized:

  • As Lorenzo writes, this is due to the removal of Adobe Flash from Windows. It looks like the Windows update was released to most people today. As a result, a lot of screensaver that require Flash, including this Fireplace screensaver, stop working.

    Please have a look at some of the other fireplace screensavers on the site. We are working on adding labels to the screensavers to indicate whether or not they require Flash. Until that's ready, it may be a bit of trial and error.
